3 Spark’s Lake Elopements That Show Off Oregon’s Natural Beauty

Jenn and Ryan are having a larger wedding ceremony this year but wanted to find some time to do elopement-style photos for just the two of them before their big day. We met at one of my favorite places along the Cascades Lakes Scenic corridor, which offers a clear view of South Sister.

I decided to photograph them on the volcanic rock outcroppings that looked over the lake for the last light of sunset. Central Oregon is so vibrant in late summer- it’s the perfect outdoor wedding venue!

From our vantage point on the rocks, we could see SUPs and canoes crisscrossing over Sparks Lake, and the shore was lined with tents and campervans. We left before the sky was completely dark, but I’m betting the star gazing is top notch too!
